What does the Stella warranty cover?

All Stella pieces come with a 1 year warranty which covers: ring resizing up or down within 1 size (due to certain design restraints, not all pieces are able to be resized), diamond replacement for diamonds under .2 carats, and manufacture defects due to craftsmanship or faulty materials. Wear/tear or misuse of the pieces will not be covered by this warranty.

What is NOT covered by the warranty?

Issues such as broken chains, prongs bent out of shape due to impact, center stone damage, or lost stones due to mishandling are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered.

When does the warranty period begin and end?

The 1 year warranty begins on the date of purchase. After the warranty expires, we are still able to assist with repairs but we do not cover their expenses.

Yes, Stella shipments do require a signature upon arrival.

Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with sending pieces in for repairs. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items in transit.

How should I package items being sent for repair?

We recommend that all clients double box and package their items with padding assuring safety and security of their pieces with insurance and tracking.

Should I get my jewelry appraised and insured?

It is highly encouraged to obtain an appraisal and insure all of your pieces. We are unable to cover lost or stolen pieces.

What is the timeframe for custom pieces?

The nature of our business model is building pieces individually for each of our clients. The majority of our pieces can take 4-6 weeks for production.

All of our pieces are custom crafted on an individual basis for each of our clients. For this reason, all sales are final.

Yes. Our local clients are able to set an appointment to view our pieces in person.

Can I bring jewelry from my personal collection as trade or for cash/credit?

We do not take trade in pieces or buy gold/diamonds. We will do our best to direct you on resources for selling your pieces.

Do you offer financing?

We offer a layaway in which we will hold your piece while you make payments and then release it once it's paid off. Layaway details: 60 days for under $5,000, 90 days for $5,000-$7,500, and 120 days for $7,500 plus. Layaway begins on the day your deposit is paid.

Yes, lab-grown diamonds are identical to natural diamonds in hardness and durability. They both score 10 on the Mohs scale, making them the hardest natural substance.
